RCHS & Los Osos Students Obtain College Readiness
On October 27, 2019, over 30 RCHS and Los Osos High School students spent the afternoon learning about the college application process and more at the College and Career Readiness Summit, which was held in Pomona, California. The event was hosted by the Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc. (Epsilon Eta Omega Chapter) in collaboration with PEARLS of Service, Inc. The agenda topics included: the importance of making good first impressions, community college options and the benefits of joining the military to fund one’s college aspirations. The program was informative and well attended. Many thanks to RCHS BSU Advisors, Ms. George-Ross and Mr. Stevens for chaperoning the event.
